As members of the Canadian Christian Communicators Association, we strive for excellence in all we do. We seek to be accurate, accountable, honest and fair in all our communications; to promote and preserve the dignity and self-respect of all we write, represent and report about; to exhibit racial, cultural and gender sensitivity; to affirm that dissension is positive, as long as it is without acrimony or ridicule; to be committed to careful attribution of source materials, prompt payment of fees to creatives, professional Christian standards in advertising, and transparency around conflicts of interest; and to seek to build up and strengthen the body of Christ in the spirit of Philippians 4:8: “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (NIV).
